The Gunnery believes that summer reading is an integral part of the curriculum and works to incorporate both student and faculty voices in selecting each year's themed reading.
The Gunnery's Summer Reading Program requires every student to read two All School selections in addition to the books listed for their course level English and history. For students registered in AP or upper level courses there may be additional reading. Suggested reading in science as well as environmentally-themed suggested reading for families and students are also included. Please refer to the Summer Reading Brochure as well as the course-specific links provided to the right.
