Golf Wins Final Home Match

Golf (10-4-0)
The highlander golf team saved its lowest round of the year thus far for its final home match against Millbrook School. The team was able to put together a great round even with weather conditions a bit more wet and cold than usual. Cam Mackay ’12 had a phenomenal round and was the medalist for the Gunnery with a final score of 37, just two shots over par and his career personal best. Mark Castaldi ’11 followed with a 38 and was trailed by Hayden Smith ’12 with a 39 and Drew Absher ’10 with a 40. Millbrook posted a best score of 40 and Gunnery won the match 199-219. They travel this Saturday in a match up with a talented team in St. Lukes School. The match is set to begin at 3:30pm.
