Welcome to The Gunnery and our Admissions section. We hope you will take the time to explore our site and learn more about what makes our community so unique. Choosing a boarding school is a significant decision and we are excited to help you discover if The Gunnery is the right fit for you. Be sure to check out our Spaces slideshow and our Spotlight movie; you will see our beautiful campus and listen to our students and alumni share their Gunnery experiences.

Greatest challenge Finding time sophomore year to hang out with my friends while doing my fall ISP on guitar and theater school

Interesting fact about you I’ve played golf since I was 4 years old and play in tournaments all around New England

Favorite way to spend free time on campus Hanging with friends and playing music in EPAC

Accomplishment you are most proud of at The Gunnery Making Dean’s List sophomore year

What was different about The Gunnery when compared to other places you looked? Everything: teachers, students, campus… it all seemed perfect compared to the other places I looked. The teachers were friendlier, the students were closer and more outgoing, and the campus was warm and welcoming.

Advice you would give to a prospective student Ask many questions on your tour, have an open mind, talk with the students and teachers, and come back more than once so you can really get a good feel of the school
