WHAT'S NEW
Constant Forward Motion Saturday
There were no classes at The Gunnery on the Saturday before spring break. Instead the students participated in a series of workshops designed “to better equip them to make healthy choices in a world full of temptations and perils.”

A Vermeil Star
Leslie Kumar ’99 proudly announces the opening of her jewelry line, NYLA STAR which offers quality pieces that can transition from day wear to night.

Student-Athlete Succeeds
“I attribute my success to The Gunnery,” said Will McKee ’06. “I learned time management and other life lessons such as working hard, extending yourself outside of athletics into academics; both require a lot of work and time to get what you want to achieve.”

Once on this Island, a Special Gift
The winter musical, Once on this Island, was a tremendous success if the reaction of the audience is any indicator.

Girls’ Hockey Team Heads to the Playoffs
Saturday was a great day for the young Gunnery girls’ hockey squad as they beat Canterbury on Canterbury’s ice 4 -2, thereby clinching a berth in the NEPSAC playoff tournament.

Highlanders Win Second Straight NEPSHC West League Championship
Once again making school history, The Gunnery defeated Berkshire 2-1 at home on Saturday afternoon to clinch their second consecutive NEPSHC West Championship and a bid into the New England Division I “Elite Eight” Tournament.
